Changes are on the horizon for 2024! The Fontvieille shopping center in Monaco is gearing up for significant renovation and expansion works. This ambitious project includes adding 70 new stores, increasing parking capacity by 300 spaces in 2023, and transforming the interior of the shopping center by creating three new floors.
These changes will come with an aesthetic overhaul, including a central skylight and a large glassed area.
Among the affected retailers, Carrefour supermarket is preparing for a major expansion within the next 2 to 3 years. With an additional 1,000 square meters of space in the future Fontvieille Shopping Center, Carrefour Monaco plans to modernize its facilities and venture into niche markets such as seasonal products, pet supplies, and international goods.
The supermarket's director, Rémi Feipeler, eagerly anticipates these changes that will enhance the customer experience and strengthen Carrefour's position in the Principality of Monaco.
