Les Moneghetti is the area in which local Monegasques used to live. It can be found to the north of La Condamine where the magnificent French Alps fall steeply down towards the Mediterranean Sea. It is the north-central district of the principality and contains Monaco’s only railway station, Gare de Monaco-Monte Carlo.
This district has some amazing properties, many with beautiful gardens, and the apartments here are well known for their steep, terraced locations and unbelievable views over Port Hercules and Monaco Ville. Prices here are comparable to those in La Condamine but due to the recent investment in this area, in the form of luxurious apartments and high quality amenities, prices have been rising steadily.
