Fontvieille

The southernmost district in the principality of Monaco, Fontvieille, is also the youngest. Developed between the 1970’s and 1990’s, mostly on reclaimed land, this dynamic residential and commercial hub houses ten per cent of the principality’s population and is also home to Monaco’s non-polluting, high-tech businesses as well as the Port of Fontvieille.
Spectacularly extravagant yachts can be found moored in the tranquil blue waters of the magnificent marina and a nearby heliport offers frequent flights to Nice and Mandelieu airports as well as to the ski stations not far from the area. Fontvieille is the place to go for great food and the many outstanding restaurants along the waterfront provide an amazing setting for the discerning customers.
This is a great place to live for families and the beautiful coastline here provides great places to take a walk and admire the wonderful Mediterranean views. Properties in this district, especially those with a sea view, can reach up to fifty thousand Euros per square metre.
